O child of innocence and marvel too

Donned in crumpled white and blue

With the uphill steps you touched the smiling sky

You kept our dreams soaring high

O child O child you have now broken free

From the school that taught you to see

The truth, the wisdom and the burning light

The world is yours now for your might

I am not a child now, but a man meant to lead

The yearning masses who need and heed
